Isn't my husband the best sport ever? He was the first one out of 6 guys to try on the 30 lb "empathy belly" at our childbirth class this weekend. This suit was designed to press on the bladder, make it harder to breathe, and also shows what great choices we have with maternity clothing (ugh!). What a guy... At first he said, "This suit is just like wearing a hunting backpack." Let me tell you, I almost slapped him! I mean, at least a backpack you can take off!!!! He DID go on to admit that it would be hard to wear for 40 weeks, hard to sleep in, etc... :) Ya think!?!?! Anyway, we had fun, learned a lot, and met a bunch of soon-to-be parents.
Not much longer! Less than a month if I make it to the due date. I am feeling okay. I feel like a huge whale though. I think I may have mentioned that.... I don't sleep well at night, but I figure my body is preparing me for what's to come. I think Maddox has dropped a lot. My stomach is literally in between my thighs when I sit down. Not pretty. I am constantly getting shooting pains in my pelvis. I will be walking and then BAM! I look as if I have been hit in the crotch. Yikes! My Braxton Hicks (practice contractions)contractions are more frequent and I am paranoid about my water breaking in public. Matt, on the other hand, is paranoid if it breaking on the leather seats in our car.... Yes, he has already put towels in the car-just in case... :)
Still working on the nursery. I will post pics soon. Just putting on some final touches... Have a great week everyone!

Ok, so Matt and Josh could be brothers I think. They say the exact same things! Too funny. I can't believe you are within a month!
Oh boy, it's close! You can always pack a bottle of pickles with you and drop it wherever you are when your water breaks! :-) The lack of sleep - well, you're just gearing up for the "real deal!"
SOOOOO awesome!!!! Go Matt!!! yea..if only he had to wear that thing around for 40 weeks.
I cried, I laughed....I must be pregnant. I am finding a class like this one for my husband for sure! He'll finally comprehend the bitchy, sassy attitude that comes with change. O wait can we give em a shot of horomones that zigzag with ever thought. HA~lol.
Love you and think the world of you. Congrats to U&Dad&Maddox!
