Breatfeeding My Sock Monkey...

Last night Matt and I had our last new parenting class! Now we are officially ready for our fresh person! Hand him over! Ha! Yes, we had a breast feeding class last night. Originally, I thought it was just a Mommy class, but then realized Dad's were "encouraged" to attend also. Lucky Matt! We learned all about boobs and how functional they really are. :) For practice, we were told to take a stuffed animal or doll. I brought a sock monkey. I figured it had big lips and would latch on better than a teddy bear... ;) It was so funny to see all the Mom's trying different holding positions for breast feeding with Pooh, Cabbage Patch dolls, Alf, teddy bears, etc. Overall, we learned a lot in all of our classes and we are glad we decided to take them.

I have another doc appt today. Now, I am going in weekly. Hopefully, they will check to see if I am any closer to having this baby! Only a few more days of bed rest then I am going on a run to bounce him out of me! Just kidding... Well, sort of... ;) He will make his debut when HE is ready...

More to come!!!
