Full Term!!!

Week 37-end: Watermelon

I must admit, I have never been so uncomfortable in my entire life... Heck ya, it feels like a freaking watermelon is in my tummy! Ugh!

At week 37, my pregnancy is considered full term!!! Yeah! This means baby Maddox is highly likely to thrive after birth. Maddox spends these last weeks in preparation for the outside world… meaning careful refinement of the blink, suck, inhale and exhale. Meconium, which we (or the nurses) will find in the first diaper, is accumulating in the intestines. Advice to Me (Mom)- "If you worry about giving birth, consider what it’s like for the little one. During the journey out of your womb, baby will produce more stress hormones than any other time in life." Awwweee! That makes me sad... :( Poor little guy....
