Being a Parent is Tough....

Pooooooooor Apollo!

Apollo had to have surgery today... Being any type of a parent is hard. To any of you that love animals (which is a pre-requisite for my friendship!), understand how difficult it is to see your pet in pain. Apollo had 5 cysts removed. He also had the insides of his cheeks laser'd b/c he was chewing on them so much and it caused a lesion on both sides. The biting on the inside of the cheeks thing is hereditary from both the Hollister and the Ginkel side! :) He loves sympathy, so please be thinking of him. He mentioned that he is going to be embarrased when we go on walks-that the other dogs would laugh at him. Matt and I made up a heroic story about him saving our lives by sacrificing himself with a pack of wolves. Hopefully he can pull that one off on the neighborhood dogs... :) Hoping for a speedy recovery for our "little" buddy, Apollo.
