Our Little Monkey....

Interesting that as soon as we find out we are having a baby boy, the food comparison is a banana....

Our little monkey gulps down several ounces of amniotic fluid every day, both for hydration and nutrition and to practice swallowing and digesting. And, these days, those taste buds actually work! Studies show that after birth, babies are most interested in tastes they've already experienced through amniotic fluid. Meaning, I need to think about what I want our future child to eat... I better get my diet under control or he will be inheriting the "Ginkel Sweet Tooth"....

NOTE: The food comparisons are in regard to LENGTH not roundness. A banana is longer than a cantaloupe (last week)....
