A Terrible, Horrible, No Good Very Bad Day....

Okay, so my day wasn't terrible and horrible, but yesterday was NOT a good day... I sort of woke up on the wrong side of the bed for no apparent reason. I ate a not-so-great for myself breakfast (bad way to start off the day) and rushed to work. When I say rushed, I mean rushed. I was stuck in a construction zone for almost 20 minutes. Needless to say, after the traffic, I got pulled over for speeding. I tried my very hardest to get out of the ticket. I slouched down in my chair and pushed my stomach out as far as it would go (ouch). I thought I would play the pregnancy card. I told the officer that I was on my way to work and I needed to go to the bathroom REALLY bad (okay, now imagine me rubbing my pregnant belly). Well, it didn't work. I was still issued a citation AND directions to the nearest gas station restroom. The day went on... I had clients back to back and wasn't able to get my OWN cardio workout in-that always makes me feel guilty. Annoying little things happened here and there at work. On my way home I stopped by the grocery store. A hungry pregnant woman in a bad mood should not be allowed in a grocery store... I bought: chocolate frosting, 2 kinds of dry cookie mix, 1 pre-made cookie dough (note: Yes, the lazy cookie mix, add water...the domestic diva will not appear until June-ish), and Fruity Pebbles. I drove home and took out my splurge items. Pointing at all the crap on the kitchen counter, I told Matt that I had a bad day. He admitted he had a bad day too then he asked, "Is that what we are having for dinner?" I said, "Yup!" He slapped his hand down on the counter and started to say something jokingly. He was interrupted by the shattering of his wedding ring. Yes, you read that correctly. His wedding ring broke into pieces. We both laughed and decided to go to bed. It was time to put our day to rest... This morning I woke up and said to myself, "You are going to have a great day today. You will never get this day back again. Thinking positive brings positivity." So far, it has been great...

Way to change the frequency charge and add the laughter to close the day. Stepping into the joy in life is the absolute change we all need to take back.
I needed a good laugh today. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
